To find influence for a creative project in which I hope to inspire others whilst developing my own imaginative mind I try to explore and adventure out as much as I can into the world and surroundings of my key initial idea. By simply walking around the streets of areas which are unknown to me, I find the urge to imagine myself in someone else's situation, this mind set helps to to think in different ways. I prefer to listen then ask, and to watch others rather then create a contrived situation, and to capture a moment taking a photograph is the tool I use most.
To develop an idea further I re visit the first place which inspired me and ponder on why I believe it reached out to me, to test would be' trail and error' although I prefer not to call an 'error' more a stepping stone into the right direction, those mistakes are what develop my ideas and I use those to learn from and build on my work. They are the work you look back on, rather than your finished piece, I try not to alter something I originally thought was correct I would rather start afresh and build.
